IB Merchant App 6.2

Indian Bank recently introduced the IB Merchant App, a mobile application designed for small-scale merchants to enroll and generate static/dynamic UPI QR codes within the small merchant category. This allows remitters (customers of the merchant) to scan the QR code and complete payments to the merchant through any UPI enabled app.

This solution streamlines the process for merchants to accept payments via UPI, ensuring a secure and swift transfer of funds from customers' bank accounts to the merchant's account without incurring additional fees.

UPI Usage Requirements:

• An Android device with internet connectivity
• An active account with Indian Bank
• The mobile number registered with the IB Small Merchant App must be linked with the bank account

Steps to Register in the IB Small Merchant Application:

1. Download the IB Small Merchant Application from Google Play Store
2. Click on "Send SMS" to verify your mobile number. An SMS will be dispatched from your mobile for verification. For dual SIM devices, users must select the SIM registered with the Bank Account for verification purposes
3. Once your mobile number is verified, establish a login password for the application
4. Upon successful login, choose the "I am a Merchant" option from the menu and submit a VPA creation request after completing the necessary fields
5. The bank will approve the VPA creation request.
